Finding the perfect shot.

Sometimes the perfect shot doesn't present itself immediately. A photographer has to go to some great length to get the right composition and lighting. One example of this was this past week when an assistant captured me anchored in knee high waves crashing into the shoreline in San Juan Puerto Rico. As you can see from the shot my assistant took is just a bit different from the final image I produced.

The perfect dress for the perfect day!

Looking great on your wedding day can be a real challenge. Especially when the you are putting together every last detail that makes your wedding day dream come true. As wedding vendors, it is our job to help guide you as much as possible...but let's face it...the final decisions come down to you.
No two brides are the same...so there are no cookie cutter answers to getting to your special day. Sometimes the choices and variables that have to be considered can seem endless, and sometimes overwhelming.

Recently I visited a bridal shop that I found have the resources and expertise to help bride and grooms at least thru part of the decision. When I was first greeted by Konstynce Kennedy, Manager of the Snellville Georgia location of Bravura Fashion, (www.BravuraFashion.com) I knew her team had a special talent that could really help brides.

Her staff has the resources and the skills to help you bring your dream into reality. If you are in the market for your perfect dress, her store is located at The Shoppes, Webb Gin, 1350 Scenic Highway, Suite 208, Snellville, GA 30078. Give them a call at 770-977-8916. I think you will be glad you did.

Also check out this great straight-to-the-point website I found. It will give you some great tips on how to look your best for your wonderful day. http://www.telegram.com/assets/microsites/weddings_site/weddings/index.html

Your love is timeless...so are your memories.

Wedding photography has changed so much in the last five years. One of the key things, is being able to make my clients feel comfortable. Because when someone is comfortable, that is when they can be themselves in front of the camera and those are the moments that are magical. When you forget the camera is there and you are so connected to each other, those are the most wonderful moments in my book.

I have put together some tips that can help brides make their magical day stay magical.

Tips to get the best photos.

How to use your business portrait!

http://www.ericstokley.com/Executive.html

The old business adage "people buy from who they know" is still true.

Business Cards

Having a photo on a business card is simply a must have for all entrepreneurs! Your business card is your own personal billboard so why not make work for you. A good business portrait always makes a business card stand out from the crowd and it gives your new contacts a great way of remembering you.

Your web site

Include business portraits on your "ABOUT US" and "BIO" website pages as well as your company blogs. If you have a large staff consider including all of their images on the website as well. Your business portrait builds familiarity with prospects and reinforces the connection your client has with your company.

Social Media

Always include a professional created business portrait in all of your social media profiles. Snapshots and cell phone photos reflect poorly on your professionalism. A professionally photographed profile photo presents you as a true professional that should be taken seriously.

E-Mail and Sales Letters

Consider using a headshot or a business portrait on your letterhead and emails. By including your image the reader begins to make a personal connection with you. Market research shows that a letter with a photo is more personal and unforgettable making it harder for your prospects to ignor or discard.

Public Relations

Establish a habit of sending out images with every news release and announcement. Every promotion, retirement, award, and new hiring should be accompanied by a professional business portrait. The addition of a high quality image with your press release increases the chance of publication dramatically.

If I can't impact people...then this whole thing is a waist.
